You may be hesitant to reach out for help. If you’ve never tried therapy before, and even if you have, you might have this idea that therapy is clinical and cold. My approach isn’t like that. You are the expert on yourself, and I’m just here to guide you in the right direction. Coming into our office might feel like an escape from your life, but when you go back, you might have a new perspective and a new sense of confidence. With telehealth services, you can stay comfortable in your own house (or log in from your car, away from your kids. I get it, no judgement here). Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and let’s chat.
A lot of people think that my job is to tell you what to do, or think that I have all the answers. I don't. That's not how this works. It's more like you're climbing your mountain over there, and I'm climbing my mountain over here. From where I'm at on my mountain, I can see things on your mountain that you can't see, like an avalanche coming or alternative pathway you can take. I can guide you in better directions and point out things you might not have noticed.
